Responsibilities What you will be doing:
Data Analysis and Visualization:
Utilize Power BI to analyze complex datasets and transform them into insightful visualizations and reports.
Design and develop interactive dashboards to present key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and ensure deliverables meet their needs.
Data Modeling:
Design and implement efficient data models for Power BI reports, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and optimal performance.
Work with large datasets, performing data cleansing, transformation, and aggregation to create meaningful visualizations.
Dashboard Development:
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, incorporating best practices for usability, performance, and aesthetics.
Stay abreast of the latest Power BI features and updates to enhance the functionality and user experience of dashboards.
Data Integration:
Integrate data from various sources into Power BI, ensuring seamless connectivity and accurate representation of business metrics. Those sources can include, but not limited to SalesForce, Greenhouse ATS, Sharepoint, Office 365, and Excel Data Sheets.
Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to streamline data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Data Governance and Quality:
Implement and enforce data governance policies to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and security.
Conduct regular audits to ensure the quality of data sources and troubleshoot data anomalies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Data Science.
Proven experience as a Data Analyst with a focus on Power BI.
2-3 direct experience in creating and managing Power BI datasets
Proficiency in Power Query, DAX, and M languages within Power BI.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Familiarity with data visualization best practices and design principles.
Experience in creating and maintaining data models and relationships.
Preferred Skills:
Masters Degree
Power BI certification is a plus.
Knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, JIRA,) and their integration with Power BI.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
• Mostly Office and sitting involvement.
• Substantial amounts of video conferencing and computer work.
• Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
• Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
• Typical 8-hour days plus lunch / 40-hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM
