What you will be doing:
Supporting production ramp up of existing military aircraft with new design changes. Needs experience with Quality process requirements and specifications for tooling, planning, hand tools, FAC tests, etc… Understanding of AS9145 including PPV and PFMEA to support aircraft production and upgrades.
Review internal & external process documentation to ensure quality requirements are clearly defined for the mechanic and inspector (QA) communities
Perform statistical analysis on process / production assemblies to drive preventative actions and reduce product variations
Perform assessments and audits on process & procedures to ensure compliance to engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements (AS9145, AS9100 “D” / AS9102)
Analyze and solve basic to complex manufacturing issues and show effective solutions
Lead/drive manufacturing teams to resolve RCCA activities and issues including validation of process & procedure/planning updates
Deliver & maintain Quality Control Plans (QCP) which outline inspection gates and guidelines to ensure compliance to the quality standards.
Lead and track resolution of Quality issues for nonconformances, MRB, rework/repairs, and escapes
Able to share experience or lessons learned with peers, other support functions and mechanics.
Able to work with DCMA
Key Role Requirements:
Experience in aeropsace and/or with F-16, F-18, F-22, F-35 or C-130 and/or prior production ops experience at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics a PLUS.”
Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Civil or Industrial Engineering plus 5-10 years of related industry experience OR 10+ years in Quality Assurance & Inspection including 3-5+years as a Quality Engineer

Desired Skills:
Ability to work successfully both independently as a consultant and subject matter expert in support of multiple build teams
Detail-oriented ,diligent self-starter with a proactive approach on test coverage
Good communication skills.
Ability to do Multi-task.
Problem solving skills.
Degree plus 5-10 years of related industry experience OR
10+ years in Quality Assurance & Inspection including 3-5+years as a Quality Engineer
Location: On-Site Greenville, SC
Job is full time 40 hours per week over 4 days.
Job primarily on first and second shift or hybrid to overlap both shifts
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.
- Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
- Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
- Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
- Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM
- Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
