Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Update  Long Term Agreements, and support the buying process for a given set of parts.
  • Create Purchase Orders in regards to quantity, confirmation date, ship date, and delivery date.
  • Support negotiations and allocate demands to specific suppliers.
  • Update Price Negotiations Memos (PNMs)
  • Create RFQs

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years' relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience with:
    • Aerospace/Aircraft Engine suppliers
    • Experience with IMPACT is desired  will train
    • Software Experience
      • Box
      • Purchase Order Documentation (PODs)
    • Long Term Agreement (LTA) modifications
    • Purchase Order modification and placement (Commercial and Military)
    • Price Negotiation Memos (PNMs)
  • Strong PC skills and proficient knowledge with MS Office Suite.

Desired Skills:

  • BS or associate’s degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma / GED.
  • Experience in ERP, Oracle tools.  
    • Impact desired not required

  • Support relationships with suppliers for PO execution, problems solving & schedule changes.
  • Ability to interact with employees/managers at all levels with good oral and written communication skills
  • Provide inputs on value-adding opportunities from all areas of supply chain including Planning, Supplier Quality, Source Fulfillment and Sourcing Processes.
  • Manage consistent operational excellence on the assigned Parts (i.e. metrics, partner interaction, OTD, Cost and responsiveness).

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

  • Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.
  • Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
  • Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
  • Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
  • Typical 8-hour days plus lunch / 40-hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM
  • Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
  • Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen
