Your Mission: Embark on a journey where your expertise as a Maintainability Specialist will shape the future of aircraft maintainability. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Provide expert guidance to hardware owners, ensuring maintenance-friendly designs with standard tools and methods.
  • Craft comprehensive program plans, orchestrating the execution of maintainability objectives for assigned programs.
  • Conduct maintainability analysis, including tool access and hardware removal path models, maintenance task analysis, and maintainability demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with customers, program leadership, and design engineers to define and execute program requirements for maintainability.
  • Contribute to the development of strategy and policy for maintainability at our client.
  • Perform design reviews and actively participate in the identification and development of support equipment.
  • Develop and execute customer deliverables, showcasing your expertise in every aspect of maintainability engineering.

Your Skills Make the Difference:

  • 3+ years of prior experience as an aircraft mechanic or crew chief conducting maintenance on military aircraft.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintainability engineering or related fields such as product support, field service, technical publications, reliability, or systems engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills that set you apart.
  • Leadership capabilities, both administrative and interpersonal, making you a valuable team member.
  • Independence and teamwork seamlessly blend in your work approach.
  • Exceptional written and verbal presentation skills, ensuring your ideas are effectively communicated.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Desired Qualifications that Elevate Your Profile:

  • Associate degree in industrial, electrical engineering; math; physics; or equivalent degree.
  • 7+ years of prior experience as an aircraft mechanic or crew chief conducting maintenance on military aircraft.
  • In-depth experience in gas turbine engine operations.
  • Previous military engine maintenance/mechanical experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with diverse types of turbine engine maintenance.
  • Proven track record supporting Department of Defense acquisition programs.
  • Working knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter Visualization Mockup software.
  • Facilitation and collaboration skills that drive success.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex problems.
  • Motivated, initiative-taking, enthusiastic, exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to plan, document, and execute programs using established project management skills.
  • Master’s degree.
